Fused glass discovered me about three years ago. My father was a glass blower working borosilicate glass so it must have it must have been in the genes. My wife and I have always been drawn to kiln formed glass and have brought items back from as far afield as Nova Scotia and Iceland. I took my first tentative fusing steps using a microwave kiln and the rest as they say is history. A year later I had a full sized kiln. I'm self taught, but have benefited hugely from the patient and unstinting support from my glass supplier.
The majority of my work is created using Bullseye glass, which is produced for kiln forming, but I also use Effetre Murano and float glass. I'm based in Crawley, West Sussex.
